Northcott Mouth is on the North coast of Cornwall a favourite spot to escape and paint.
The story of the painting
‘Mesmerising, Northcott Mouth’ was painted on glorious summers day at this National Trust beach near Bude. A favourite spot of mine, it is away from the crowds. It is also the closest to my studio and where I escape for a quick surf or swim. On this particular day, the sun was glinting off the gentle surf and it was just mesmerising. One of those days when you just didn’t want to leave.
Painted on a linen canvas in acrylics, it measures 60 cm wide x 40 cm high and 1cm deep. It is currently unframed. If you would like to see this on your wall or would like more information, please get in touch . Contact me here
