I am often asked if I have paintings of the breakwater and this image came from a walk I do at least four times a week as it takes me from my home around into the town.
A large 90cm square linen canvas painted in a vignette style with loose acrylic washes in a watercolour style with a myriad of greys, greens and turquoise in the foreground. A sense of place with a gentle feel, the view is from the walk to Bude Sea Pool with the iconic breakwater, some fishing boats, barrel rock and compass point in the middle distance.
SOLD at the exhibition but the Giclee Print is stunning if interested. It really has a sense of place and has been a very popular print .
